Local Members
Getting to and from meetings in Nassau is easy. With good directions a Taxi can pick you up and take you anywhere while the local transport service called Jitney (J-it-ny) is a public bus route at $1 a ride during daylight hours. Local AA members are often happy to offer visitors transport back to hotels.

Jitney buses are numbered and run randomly about every 20 minutes or so. Catch Jitney bus #10 along the main street to go from Cable Beach to Downtown. In town busses depart from specific locations. Catch bus #1 at Parliament & Bay Streets to go to Rosetta Street. Make sure to tell the Jitney bus driver your destination with street name & he'll tell you when to get off.
NOTE: Jitney's will not go over the Paradise Island bridge.
